Downtown Holland

Downtown is the heart of Holland. It has so much character. Us Holland natives love is just as much as the tourist. Downtown Holland has so many wonderful restaurants, shops and activities.
Here is the think to the town of Holland's page. This will list all events happening in Holland.
Windmill Island

The Windmill Island is the perfect way to take in and learn about Holland's history. The Windmill pictured was actually brought over from the Netherlands. Most people think Windmill Island is only pretty during Tulip Time, but we think it is a Holland treasure year around.
Dutch Village (Parents with Children)

Dutch Village is perfect for parents with young children. They have rides, a petting zoo, treats and so much more. Dutch village is a huge hit around Tulip Time.
Holland State Park

Big Red is a huge hit around here and for good reason. The light house at the state park is magnificent. The Holland State Park is the place to be on a sunny day if you are a beach lover. The beach is less than a mile from our rentals, People love to walk and bike the beautifully maintained bike paths we have that run straight from Oak Grove all the way to the beach.

Ice Cream & Putt Putt

Captain Sundae is a Holland staple. If you leave Holland without trying their ice cream and playing a round of mini golf putt putt your are not getting the full Holland experience. They are famous for their Tommy Turtle Sundae!!
Grand Haven & Saugatuck

Grand Haven and Saugatuck are beautiful towns to the North and South of us here in Holland. They both are full of restaurants, shopping and activities. Grand Haven is 30 minutes north and Saugatuck is 30 minutes south. The photo shown above is the Grand Haven pier. It is a wonderful walk at sunset.
Tunnel Park or Rosy Mound

Nothing beats a West Michigan Summer sunset. Tunnel Park and Rosy Mound are fun parks that have trails that take you to the lake shore. There are many others like these as you follow the lake shore all the way to Grand Haven.
Bowerman Blueberries Farm Market

We send everyone to Bowerman's. They have the BEST blueberry donuts and their farm market has even more fun options. Don't miss out on their
You-Pick blueberries if you are in town during blueberry picking season.
